Among the array presented, certain items stand out for their intricate use of local ingredients and creative execution. The diverse offerings on the Elk Bakery + menu reveal a willingness to fuse traditional and modern influences, although some plates veer towards simplicity, perhaps reflecting a cautious approach rather than adventurous ambition. Reviews occasionally mention the pace of service, which can fluctuate—sometimes deliberate, sometimes a touch languid—yet this does not notably detract from the overall satisfaction of the meal and atmosphere.

Being a busy Sunday there was a large cue but it was worth the wait! It was the best breakfast I’d had in a long time. The food preparation is beautiful and you have such a wide variety of menu options to suit literally anyone. I would love to come back!! (I recommend the spaghetti pancakes - delish!!)

My family and I recently popped into Elk Bakery for breakfast, and while the place definitely lives up to its well-deserved hype, it was the service that truly made our morning. The vibe is cool and the menu is huge. We ordered quite a spread, including the Club Sandwich, Eggs California, Eggs & Bagel, and the Avocado Croast. Everything was solid—well-made, tasty, and satisfying. The coffee (a cappuccino and an americano) was also perfect. No complaints at all on the food front; it was exactly what we needed to start the day. However, the real standout was our server, Ilaria. With a big family order like ours, things can sometimes get complicated or rushed, but Ilaria was fantastic. She was friendly, super efficient, and genuinely seemed happy to help us. She made sure our coffees and food came out smoothly and checked on us just the right amount. Honestly, it's that kind of straightforward, warm service that makes a restaurant experience special, especially when you're visiting with family. If you're in Verona and looking for a fantastic American-style breakfast or brunch spot, Elk Bakery is an easy recommendation. The food is great, but ask for Ilaria—she'll take great care of you.

Love this place . Wonderful variety of tasty breakfast/ brunch items. Brioche Bagels are huge…eat with a knife and fork. Fluffy pancakes are exceptional …even with the meat sauce. Take me there anytime
